Notice of Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Western Michigan Yachting Association will be held at the Muskegon Yacht Club, Muskegon, Michigan, on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 7:00 pm. 

Each member club is entitled to appoint three delegates who may vote for and represent their club at the meeting.  These delegates must be appointed by the Commodore or the Board of Directors of the member club and must be pre-registered with the office of the Association in writing prior to July 30, 2008. 

The meeting is open to all sailors and spouses who wish to come.  Officers are urged to extend this invitation to any of their members who would like to attend.  It is important for delegates from our clubs to be in attendance at the Annual Meeting as changes to our Articles and Bylaws for the WMYA are being submitted for a vote.  Member clubs have been sent proposed changes and should be posted at the club.

ALL BOARD MEMBERS SHOULD ARRIVE NOT LATER THAN 6:30 P.M.

ALL DELEGATES SHOULD ARRIVE NOT LATER THAN 7:00 P.M.
